Fungicide Fundazol: description, instructions for use
Timely processing of plantings will save trees, flower beds and crops. One of the most versatile and effective drugs is the fungicide Fundazole, which is actively used by gardeners and gardeners throughout the country. So that you do not have to understand complex descriptions, we have already studied everything in advance and offer instructions for use!
The principle of action of Fundazole
In the bag you will find a fine white powder with an unpleasant, but weak smell. The main active component of the universal fungicide is benomyl, which is practically a synonym for fundazole. According to the proportional ratio, it occupies half the mass of the drug.
The principle of action is typical for this category: an aggressive substance violates the structure of the fungus. After this, the disease cannot spread further and gradually fades. Fundazole can be used at all stages: from the preparation of seed to the treatment of adult trees.
The use of fundazole
It is a systemic and contact fungicide with immediate and delayed action. It is effective against mold, gray rot, spotting of all varieties and varieties, powdery mildew and painful wilting. The drug is invaluable for coniferous planting, because it resists infectious lodging and shute.
When using, there is a nuance: Fundazole moves along the plant strictly from the bottom up. So spraying is not enough for full deferred protection. It is necessary that the substance penetrates through the root system, otherwise the effect will be exclusively local at the site of application.
The main strength of Fundazole is its high efficiency in the next three days. Then the protective effect lasts at least another week. The tool can be used at the beginning and end of the season, because the temperature is almost irrelevant. It is combined with other neutral substances, in addition to lime and alkali.
The second significant advantage is the strong acaricidal effect, which is characteristic of the active component of Fundazole. This means that the drug inhibits not only the fungus, but also destroys pests with clutches. It is harmful to aphids, ticks and leaf beetles, does not allow larvae to develop, and disrupts the development of nematodes and whiteflies.
Although Fundazole is almost harmless to birds and beneficial insects, it is a rather dangerous drug. It causes severe allergic reactions in contact with skin or mucous membranes. It is especially dangerous of reproductive function, up to impaired fetal development.
The reverse side of the coin is a long period of decomposition in the soil. Although Fundazol is almost harmless to leaves and shoots, when accumulated in the soil, it gradually weakens the root systems.
Most often, a weak 0.1% solution is used, because it is a rather toxic substance. The frequency of treatments ranges from 2-3, depending on the degree of spotting or lesion. Against rot and from Fusarium 2 spraying is enough.
Preparation of fungicide solution
For a 0.1% solution, add only 10 g to the bucket - this is a very economical tool. Raise Fundazol on the street or in the most ventilated area. Be sure to use gloves and a respirator, and contact with a doctor as soon as possible.
To spray one square of the plot you need only 150 ml of solution. The frequency depends on the specific problem and culture, but the algorithm is the same: before flowering, after harvest, or directly at the lesion.
Fundazole for planting stock
For pickling flower bulbs, immerse them for three hours in a solution of 10 g in 2 l of water. Garlic needs a concentrated and lengthy treatment - 0.5 liters of water per day. Tubers are sprayed with the same solution - half a liter of concentrate per dozen.
